  1. BiblioTech is alive with the sound of Christmas music! Bexar County’s All-Digital Public Library offers free resources where you can listen to or watch concert performances by artists wherever you are. Check out BiblioTech Library’s Christmas options through Hoopla, Cloudlibrary, Kanopy or and if you don’t see something you want, message them on their homepage.   2. The San Antonio International Airport (SAT) and the Galleries at SAT invite the community to see the latest exhibits by local and award-winning artists featured throughout the airport. The exhibits are part of the City of San Antonio Aviation Department’s Arts and Culture Program “created to provide a sense of place; throughout the city’s airports.” The works on display reflect San Antonio’s “dynamic talents, rich culture and history.” For more information on the exhibits and featured artists, visit: (Press Release Desk)
  3. The San Antonio Food Bank and South San Independent School District are hosting a Mega Food Drive from 9-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The event will be held in the South San Athletic Center parking lot, located at 7800 Kindred St., but pre-registration is required.   4. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill will open a franchise location at 11647 Culebra Road in 2022. Franchisees Satheesh and Sosamma Mammen will operate the San Antonio venue which will feature Greek favorites such as gyro and lamb, steak, and chicken souvlaki.   5. Wing Daddy’s Sauce House will be opening an eighth San Antonio location next year in Crosstown Plaza, at 211 N. General McMullen. The El Paso-based hot wing franchise will feature “traditional bone-in options as well as boneless bites and chicken strips in its 23 signature sauces” and “plenty of appetizers like buffalo fries and cheese-filled tater-tots called ‘Sleezeballs.’” Enjoy these and other hot wing favorites at any of the other San Antonio locations which also offer weekday happy hour specials from 2-6 p.m. For more information on the new venue, visit: (
