  1. Kayebella Rose Robinson, a missing 7-month-old that was in the back seat of a stolen vehicle, has been found safe and sound. On Saturday, Feb. 19 at approximately 7:53 p.m., her mother “parked her running vehicle at a store and went inside while another family member watched” from a distance. Suddenly a man went inside the car and drove away with the child. After an AMBER Alert was issued, the baby and the stolen vehicle were found abandoned nearby at around 12:10 a.m. Fortunately, the child was not injured but EMS still checked her, and “the man who stole the car is still on the run” while the investigation continues. 2. Rodeo season is here and if you haven’t gone yet, there’s still time as it goes on until Sunday, Feb. 27. Before you mosey on down there, though, here’s a few tips to help make your trip a most enjoyable one. First of all, dress appropriately, but this doesn’t mean that you have to “wear the bedazzled and festive denim vest you own because you think it makes you look like you’ve been around cows.” Just make sure to wear a jacket for the cold rodeo season and use sunglasses so that the dust from the fairgrounds won’t get in your eyes. Next, take enough money because “the indoor market is chock-full of vendors selling their wares” such as Stetson hats, chunky belts and more! There also lots of food, like 12-inch Texas corn dogs, Texas-sized turkey legs sizzling on the open grill and huge powdered funnel cakes! You’ll probably get hungry from all those tempting eats and may want to try them all! For those who love amusement parks, there a whole playground full of thrilling rides but if you’d rather just see the farm animals, there’s a whole bunch of majestic animals that you can admire and maybe even pet. If you’re a country music fan, there are various concerts going on during rodeo night, but be sure to purchase your tickets in advance at https://www.sarodeo.com. Whatever you decide to do, make sure to plan your itinerary well, as rodeo is a day-long affair! Happy Rodeo Ya’ll! For rodeo details visit (sarodeo.com) and see: (mysanantonio.com)
  3. Tuesday, Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day and to celebrate, several San Antonio restaurants will be offering special deals! “Whether you like salt, sugar, or maybe even Tajin on the rim,” you can find them all at various spots in town that day! Happy Margarita Day! For a list of venues and prices, please visit: (KSAT San Antonio)
